Building a turn-based strategy game in Godot 4 shouldn't mean pending weeks wiring up hex coordinates, pathfinding, fog of war, and combat from scratch. Hex Strategy Map gives you a production-ready hexagonal layer in a single addon install — so you ship your game, not the plumbing.
What you get (Free)
- HexGrid— Offset and cube coordinate system, neighbor queries, distances, terrain cost tables, edge costs, and LOS.
- PathFinder — Dijkstra and A* (O((V+E) log V)), reachable hex calculation, configurable neighbor filters.
- HexRenderer — Polygon2D / Sprite2D / AnimatedSprite2D rendering with injectable terrain colors, fog overlays, highlights, icons, and edges. Batch mode with AABB viewport culling.
- MapCamera — Follow target, drag, zoom, edge-scroll.
